This artist book is an exploration of  my status as an “alien” in a foreign country. The content shows a compilation of Asian immigration laws in the United States and Chinese immigration laws in Indonesia. These laws are written on rice paper that has been dyed in spices that are prominently used in Indonesia such as turmeric, cardamom, ginger and nutmeg.
